Spirobank
RDSM is convinced that the future in medicine lies in medical devices that can be connected to a PC. Spirobank is a perfect example of this. Spirobank can be used as a stand-alone device and can be connected to a PC using the winspiro software. Spirobank has a large memory and needs no calibration.
Spirobank
is able to perform Forced Vital Capacity, Slow Vital Capacity,
Maximum Voluntary Ventilation, Post Medication testing and
Bronchial Challenge tests, totalling 26 spirometry parameters.
According to ATS criteria, Spirobank can recognise 5 degrees of obstruction, 5 degrees of restriction and a normal spirometry.
The integrated temperature sensor allows spirobank to automatically make the conversion to BTPS standards. Humidity and athmospheric pressure do not have any influence on test results.
NEW: Spirobank now with USB connection

Currently Spirobank is the only spirometer to receive the I-Med label granted by CIVA. This I-MeD label guarantees a bi-directional communication between both electronic patient management system and medical devices bearing the label. After the input of patient data in the electronic patient management system (name, first name, birthday, sex and ID n°), these data are automatically imported in the Spirobank software while ordering a spirometry. After the trial the most important parameters, their predicted values and the interpretation as well are stored in the patient management system.
Spirometry is more valuable in predicting premature death from heart attack than the ECG
